The Ibis Hi-Fi Coffee and Cocktail Bar is one of the flagship retail tenants located in the bottling line area of the former Coca-Cola bottling facility. In 2022 the original building facade was structurally set back 10 ft to create depth and provide patios and covered walkways for retail activation.
In 2023 the wall between the former bottling line and mixing room was removed to make space for a DJ booth and sound system from Gravity Records. The Ibis was modeled after Japanese listening rooms that stem back to the 1950s.
The owners of The Ibis are also behind The Starling Whiskey & Wine Bar in the nearby Cargo District, as well as other Wilmington businesses.
